Does it actually create a chemical reaction to dissolve rust? or is this just bs advertizing?** A: As all rust “eaters” go, I believe it breaks up the bond that rust creates so you can loosen what ever it is your working on. So far, this product works really well for me. **Q: Anyone ever use it on bicycle chain?** A: Free All is not recommended on bicycle chains as this penetrating oil is used to break down rust bonds.
