Surprisingly good! - While this won't satisfy a desire for buckwheat pancakes with real maple syrup on a cold winter morning, it does satisfy that occasional time when I just have to have pancakes. I fired these up this morning and was surprised by the good taste and the size of the pancake (I just did one). It took a while to cook, because I took the directions seriously, but it was worth the wait. There is a slight unpleasant aftertaste, but I don't know if it was from the pancakes or the sugar free "maple syrup" I used. Very easy to make

I bought this for the lower sodium. The taste was like cardboard, very bland. However my big complaint is that one packet of mix only makes one small pancake. I got one pancake less than the size of a coffee cup saucer, and for the price, that means 7 small pancakes for $15, not acceptable. I would not buy it again, nor recommend it.
