This putty has exactly the right texture to work into the fine cracks where cabinets are joined. I was looking all over San Diego County for a putty to match the new cabinets we got from Home Depot. The cabinet finish we chose was honey-glaze maple. The putty and wax stick the cabinet manufacturer sent was not close, and their customer service rep said that was the nearest they had. Home Depot was no help. Tried all the professional paint supply places in the metropolitan area without success. The product is a great match for our hardwood floors and I have previously used tiny pots. I went for a big pot for this job and although the product is great, unfortunately the top third of the pot I received in this order was very dry, crusty and unusable for the best part. I wet my hands a little to see if that would make it a bit better to work with but can only assume that the pot wasn’t 100% airtight and the product near the top had perished. Wasn't in a position to make a return and wait for a new one so just had to forego that third of the pot.
