The markers themselves, work wonderfully on my glass-top desk organizer! Don't know how they'r do on a regular dry-erase board, nut on glass, they are awesome - very bright and vibrant on black! Be sure when you read a review, that you consider how the buyer was trying to use them. And yes, they work like a paint pen, but I have not had any issues since first shaking any pen to get the fluid to mix and start flowing. Make sure to cap when not in use, or YMMV.
