Galeffi Ingredients are: sugar, sodium bicarbonate, malic acid, glucose syrup, natural flavor, dehydrated lemon juice (lemon juice, maltodextrin, natural flavor, alpha tochoferol), FD & C Blue 2. Alka-Seltzer Original Antacid Ingredients are: Anhydrous citric acid 1000 mg, Antacid Aspirin 325 mg (NSAID)*, Analgesic Sodium bicarbonate (heat-treated) 1916 mg. The main difference is that Alka-Seltzer contains Aspirin. I'm not saying one is better than the other, but they ingredients are different. Frankly, I think Alka-Seltzer is overpriced, so I was looking for a generic alternative and think I will give Galeffi a try since I don't necessarily need Asprin every time my stomach is upset. **Q: What is the expiration date?** A: The expiration is on the bottle. However, it has a shelf life for at least a year or more, as long as you keep the bottle closed. **Q: What are the ingredients? The expiration date is December 2023. I have half a jar left and it’s still as loose and fizzy as ever. The jars are made of glass and they came well-packed. I am a Brioschi fan, but Brioschi comes in a plastic jar and seems to turn hard as a rock after a while.
