The spacer is too wide to go in between the metal holes. Then I tried the bolts and they were much too large for the holes. So in order to make this work, I would have had to hammer the flaps open as far as possible bending them out and then get a metal drill bit and make the holes larger. I decided that the problems would probably just get worse from there so I am returning the product. Hopefully all the way back to Japan or China. I don't know the difference in their writing. Just about everything on the box is written in one of those languages.
