Although to be fair, having them rotate freely adds to the value of this model. It just wouldn't be right if they were folded. The excess of detail makes this a nightmare or a dream for painting depending on your view. Getting this thing into an authentic colour scheme with weathering and stains on the relevant pieces is actually a pleasure, and the detailing provided helps a lot to get this right. No, oil streaks etc are not modelled on, but the detailing for vents, exhaust and other parts is more than sufficient to see where wear and tear and weathering would occur.
