The transfer case is Limited Slip, but the differentials are not. I ultimately decided to try this product (I use their HVAC cleaner, and also trans additive in my Ford 10R60). Within 10 miles, the noise and corresponding vibration was completely gone. One bottle into the transfer case with the fresh MB 239.41 gear oil, and it's back to behaving like the day I bought it.
