I just received this chest rig and haven't used it at work yet. I can't speak to the lasting quality of it but the price can't be beat. First impressions are that the quality is good and should last under normal use. As you can see in the picture it holds my Icom f3261dt radio perfectly with the adjustable tension on the radio pouch. I'm using the second pouch for my backup flashlight also utilizing the adjustable tensioner. The center pouch holds inspection paperwork folded. The pen slots are perfect for standard size pens. The rear zippered pouch holds my samsung s8+ with a full sized otterbox in the upright position. The pouch will not zip with the phone in it. I plan on using this chest rig for a while and I think it should last. The pencil holders are too small for regular sharpie or some pens. For the price, it's pretty great, however it's really small. To be honest when I first opened it I thought it would be useless, but I was wrong! Center pouch can fit a phone (with the flap left open), array of pens and sharpies, or a small notepad. Radios just fit into the side pouches but they were smaller radios (Hytera).If you need a really versatile chest rig to hold more than what I mentioned, jump the gun and pickup a few carabiners. After testing it out before the event, I was able to rig it up the way I wanted and it was much more useable.
