I use it (Solarez, not the grain filler) for finishing guitars, which I make one at a time. If I was to use nitro lacquer I'd have to wait literally weeks between finishing steps. I can complete a guitar finish in a day or two with Solarez. **Q: Can you topcoat with urethane?** A: If you are using it as a grain filler then, yes.
