I was hoping that if you had a setting of a color it would stay that color but in truth there are three settings; the first is when you swing or hit something the saber changers color. The second is like a rave light and the third fades in and out of colors. Not really what I wanted but I'll find a use for it. But they didn't even last two weeks. They stopped making sound and lighting up. He had very sad.
