The MobileStudio Pro 13 or 16 has 2 charging modes to help protect the battery. If it been plugged in for a long period and is no longer charging above about 75%, then it has switched to "desktop charging mode". All lithium ion batteries need to be regularly discharged to stay healthy, so should not be left plugged in for long periods. The BIOS of your MobileStudio Pro has a protection routine that will prevent any damage, but it could be inconvenient if you work out of the studio from time to time. When it is plugged in for over 14 days, it will switch from "mobile charging mode" which allows the battery to fully charge (charge status shows above 95%) to "desktop charging mode". It will stop charging and allow the battery to drain to 70%, and the maintain it at 70-75%. To allow it to fully charge again, disconnect the power adapter and allow it to drain to 60% or less. When you reconnect it, it will reset to "mobile charging mode", charge fully once again, and restart the 14-day protection countdown.
