MY OLDEST ONE HAD A LABEL OF "ACE", yes ACE Hardware, but they have not carried them for years, for unknown reasons. They have nothing comparable now. Interestingly, that old ACE flashlight carried the SAME model number on it--"MODEL 41-1045. ...Two others are still working just fine, after so many years (!see my ADVICE in the next paragraph below!). .
