I bought this as something i can throw in my purse as a just in case shadow and was expecting drug store makup quality but I was pleasantly surprised. It actually could go toe to toe with some of the more expensive brands I usually buy at like ulta or sephora. The shadow is pretty pigmented but it's kind of hard to see the lighter colors in the picture because of my skin tone. I swatch with my finger and noticed the texture is super soft. The majority of the shadows are very sparkly and light reflective. There is only one true matte color... the liner. My only complaint is that I wish the largest base color was matte too.
