Have so far used up less than a third of a teaspoon of these pellets, so at this rate should last about 15 years, as long as they are not exposed to air. Will turn to dust in no time if they are. I have both the 1mm & .5mm spectrum pellets & these are in between. I have a dragonet that LOVES these over the spectrum pellets, my tang cleans house on them too but my clown not so much. **Q: It says that this is for the 14 oz size, but the picture is for the 3.5 ounce size. The plus size is this is good for goldfish and even butterfly fish.
