Review: Before getting this pad, I had not had 8 hours of continual sleep in many years. I'd either wake up around 4AM for no reason, or just toss & turn for a few hours before finally dozing off. I also was never able to sleep in past 7AM no matter how tired I actually was. I tried light-blocking curtains, fans, noise makers, blue light blockers, hundreds of dollars in different pillows (My Pillow and Pillow Cube are the best by far for me). Melatonin and other sleep supplements helped a little, but no matter what, I'd wake up feeling stiff and achy. After using this pad for 2 weeks, I just woke up after sleeping for NINE hours straight! It's an absolute miracle! I haven't felt this energized in the morning for so long! I tried sleeping directly on the pad as well as putting it under the fitted sheet. Directly on the pad did not work for me at all. It was like sleeping on a plastic tarp. So I highly recommend putting the fitted sheet over it. Even with the sheet, it will feel a little odd at first, but you get used to it. I learned about Earthing/Grounding watching Gary Brecka on Joe Rogan. I highly recommend watching that discussion and doing as many things as possible as Gary recommends. I also do cold therapy, drink some hydrogen water, and walk on bare grass when I can. All those things are great, but without a good night's sleep, they wouldn't be that useful. This pad really changed my sleep and my life. I highly recommend it.

**Q: does this make you sweat? It seems like sleeping on plastic :-|**
A: The mat is under a cotton fitted sheet so, no, it doesn’t make me sweat, just the opposite. It makes me feel cooler at night which I love!

**Q: Does this go under your sheets or on top?**
A: Under the sheets love. I sleep on top but it depends on your sensitivity. I also purchased the grounding mat for my desk. Much more intense.

**Q: Will this product work just as well if I cover it with my one cotton mattress sheet over it?**
A: According to product description it will work with cotton &/or natural fiber fitted sheet covering it.  Works better with bare skin touching it.

**Q: Ack! Purchased 100% cotton sheet per instructions & after a month realized it hasn't been grounded. (mat itself is grounded) Why would that be???**
A: I have the same problem. Not found a solution yet

Conductivity from the mat underneath your own sheet only happens when and if you sweat. Didn’t drink enough water today? Sorry, no conductivity. Did you roll over too many times thus breaking the “micro sweat” barrier? Sorry, no conductivity. Did the fitted sheet get bunched up underneath your torso creating more than one layer between your skin and the mat? Ah. Sorry, no conductivity. Don’t like sleeping naked? You guessed it, no conductivity. And if you decide to try to sleep directly on top of the mat with no sheet on top… Hope you like waking up stuck to the mat. Hope you like the sensation of ice cold pleather against your bare back when you first lie down. Hope your pajamas don’t get bunched up. Hope you find that happy medium between sweating just enough to reach conductivity but so much that you wake up shivering in a “micro” puddle… It’s too bad because this does work when you are able to align all the planets and cross all your Ts while dotting every I. I really expected more from Clint Ober.. oh well. At least I got my $300 back.
