I have 3 dogs & a cat, these really work hard to get all the pet hair off of things. I usually put a drop or two of some delicious smelling essential oil on a couple & my laundry smells amazing way longer than fabric softener or a dryer sheet could do. I've had my set for about 6 months & they still look as great as they did when I purchased them, so they are made to last. They work, but do not eliminate static (I wear mostly wool socks). I also put a couple of aluminum foil balls in the dryer and that seems to eliminate the problem. I use these and spray a cloth with a mixture of 1/2 cup vinegar and 10-12 drops of a good essential oil of your choice. No static, smells good, soft clothes.
