I received one for Christmas and then purchased two more. :) This one has an off/on switch that I tuck behind my computer so it's easy on/easy off every day. Every single night since we've had the lamp we've slept crazy deep. I attribute the heavy slumber to the lamp...my boyfriend is more of a skeptic. We sleep with it dimmed really low and it emits the most perfect, cozy glow that does not disturbs us. Directions say to put it near TV's or any electronics that emit disturbing ions so that's what we did. When I was setting the lamp up it came off of the base but it was fixed easily.
