Paired with my face mask, I do feel protected. It is still feels a bit stuffy, but it does not weigh heavily on the face and is pretty comfortable. I have a round face and it gives great coverage that meets standard, and I've gotten a lot of compliments. If teenagers like it, then you know its good. The only drawback I found was that it came a little scratched up.
