I do not understand those people who want to consume coconut oil and yet they dislike the coconut taste. Coconut oil is supposed to have a coconut smell and taste. With that said, I don't think this product has a very strong coconut taste or smell (maybe just slightly stronger than Nuvita brand). But I hated the cap they used; it is the kind that has a ring. I turned the cap to open it and the ring came apart but the middle piece stayed on. I had not experienced this with any other jar. While I tried to pry it open, some of the coconut oil spilled. I still hate the cap. I close it tight but I still feel it is not closing properly. And every time I open it, the ring comes apart. With no results from Lotrimin AF, prescription ketoconazole, an oral prescription of Fluconazole, Apple cider vinegar, rubbing alcohol and a myriad of other attempts to eradicate a fungal infection (Jock itch). I tried the coconut oil because of its stated anti-fungal properties. After a week (really, just after one application) the incessant itching is gone. I will continue use for six weeks and if the treatment holds and completely solves the problem hooray, if not, I'll update.
