It had been dumped from the back of the truck and set in an area of the driveway I or my tenants would of run it over had I not had my teenage son available to help struggle it into the house.1 - it should be in 2 packages it just about hurt me and I am sure it is over the limit for 1 UPS driver to move safely when it states on the outside of the box to use 2 people to lift.2 - fortunate it wasn’t damaged on the corners due to it being dropped from the back of the UPS truck.3 - I could of moved it in by myself had it been 2 packages4- a nice thin plastic layer over the top piece would of been nice as mine got scuffed as I built itFabulous piece, easy to build but the scuffs (ever so slight but obvious in the sun) could of been avoided had the piece had the layer of protective film on it that cheaper pieces arrive with. All my furniture for my home andOverall - satisfied purchase but absolutely disgusted with the manufacture who thinks that anyone including a lone driver would be able to lift this piece.Put it in 2 packages please. I am sure it would have been left at my door properly if it wasn’t such a beast to lift!!!Not left in my wet gravel snow covered driveway… it was days away from Xmas and I am sure this driver was exhausted. It should be against the law for any delivery person to have to lift alone. We had it completely finished and up and standing and when we cleaned it off from the dust and packing materials. We found the black paint finish is bad. So many stroke marks and spray marks....we were just lazy to take it all apart and re pack it and ship it back.
