## Description

Product description

Review: function very well - great quality - An ice pop maker designed these no doubt. I think even children could be shown to make ice pops with these. The only drawback I can see is that the bottoms are not especially big or wide to make a bunch of fancy designs and such. OK by me, as I need just a basic recipe to pour in. (My recipe is at the end if you need a simple one.) These have all the important features covered: 1. The bottoms snap into the base very well. 2. The tops snap onto the bottoms tightly - it takes practice; you must balance the top onto the bottom evenly before pushing down to snap it on. If the top sits lopsided on the bottom even a small bit it won't snap on - we don't want the tops flying off. 3. Just wide enough openings so we can pour our mix into them directly from the corner of the blender - no funnel needed. 4. They can be managed in a variety of ways, each one easy: (A) I can hold 3 bottoms in one hand, fill all 3, snap each one onto the base without a spill, and have enough room in between each one as it sits on the base to grasp the bottom with one hand while I snap the top on with the other hand, then repeat for the next 3; or (B) I can snap all the bottoms in, fill each one, then grasp and the affix tops as in (A), or (C) I can hold just one, fill it, snap top on and then snap the whole unit on to the base. 5. The tray is thick and very stable so it will not dump the pops out while I transfer the unit to the freezer from my counter. 6. If run under the water a few seconds, or left out a minute, either way, once the top is unsnapped the pop just slides right out. I found that about 1/2 a blender fills one tray. You experiment and see how it goes. My ice pops are normally made with 3 things: a liquid flavoring, a thicker base, and fixings. I make my liquid with Kool-Aid in the unsweetened little powder packets becasue I can control sugar content and flavor strength (and it is cheap, becasue I go through A LOT of pops!) Sometimes we prefer real juice, or soda, or milk, or whatever - experimentation is the point with ice pops. I even used V-8 juice to make some veggie ones as snacks. My base is usually plain Greek yogurt or organic pumpkin or other squash (I might use cream or evap milk or half n half for liquid if I use something besides a milk-base like yogurt). For fixings, I use fruit, either frozen, fresh or dried, maybe some nuts or candy or bacon or...then. I blend it up in proportions according to how thick and creamy I want the end product to be. It can be like a fro-yo or like a simple juice pop, we decide as we go along. With this pop set, we can make 3 different trays just by changing up the ingredients a little as we are in process of making the mix.
Review: Easy to fill, remove, eat from, and clean! - We've used several types of popcicle molds over the years with our family. This is reminiscent of the older Tupperware style from the at least the 1970s. But the volume is larger than I remember. I don't actually use the tray provided, because they stand up on their own, and I put them in on freezer door. But, after frozen, of course, they can be placed anywhere in the freezer. To fill them, I set them in a cup so it's steady while I pour in about 4oz total, usually through a funnel. So far, I've made 1) Coconut milk/pineapple/vanilla, 2) Chocolate Fudge avocado pudding, 3) Lemonade w/ lime juice & zest, and 4) Iced Coffee Mocha. So many options, including just freezing regular juice, koolaid, or even sweet tea. I'm going to try ice cream types next (fresh whipped cream & condensed milk) plus other flavorings. The handle/lid is especially great because it is a little drip cup in itself. I have 2 packs (36ct), and might order more so I have more ready-made on hand. These are fantastic popcicle molds.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Hi, are these made in china? or in the usa?**
A: The box says "designed in USA, made in China"

**Q: How much liquid does one mold hold?**
A: I just got these and despite the fact that the information states that "Each pop fills to a full 4 oz." they only hold 3 ounces of liquid

**Q: how big are the pops out of the mold?**
A: 4 1/2" x 2 1/4". I took my left over lemons and squeezed them. Filled these up and literally just today grabbed one and added water, ice and 2 stivia's, for a nice tall glass of lemonade ready in a minute. I made fruit healthy pop cycles, and just about anything you can think of. I love these. You don't have to put the tops on tight, that way you just run water on the body and easily pull it apart.

**Q: Are theu dishwasher safe?**
A: I haven't washed mine in the dishwasher but they are pretty sturdy and the packaging says they are dishwasher safe.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love this popsicle mold set!
*by T***C on July 24, 2020*

I have probably made 100 popsicles already this summer. The one problem I had was space in my freezer. With my previous mold set, I had to remove all the frozen popsicles from their molds and store them in a zip bag, in order to make space in the freezer. BUT I would usually forget or be too lazy, and the mold would just stay in the freezer, taking up space until all the popsicles from the same mold got eaten. And even when I did remove them from the molds and put them into a bag, it would get messy inside the bag (especially with creamy ice cream bars). The US Kitchen Supply popsicle mold allows me to store the frozen popsicles mess-free in zip bags. When someone wants a popsicle, they grab from the bag and run it under warm water to release. That way, I don’t have to be the one removing every single popsicle from the molds; whoever is eating the popsicle does it themselves. Plus, no sticky hands from reaching into a messy bag of frozen popsicles. I will admit the set does feel like it's made of fragile Fisher Price plastic, but they haven’t broken on me yet and I hope they won’t. The good thing is, the company has a lifetime guarantee. I wish the handles were all plain white or neutral instead of the bright red and bright blue. I would definitely buy another set if it were all white. Or if a set of 3 different colors, something in the same color scheme, like white/beige/brown or white/light gray/charcoal. Not reducing stars for the colors, but hoping someone who works at TCP Global might see this ;) Likes: - easy to release - dishwasher safe - saves freezer space when storing - minimalist shape - great value Dislikes: - the bright colors (but not a big deal) Summary: Love the set and excited for all the popsicles I’ll be making with them! Easy Ice Cream Bar Recipe: 1 pint (2 cups) heavy cream 14 oz can (½ cup) sweetened condensed milk Freeze beater attachments and large mixing bowl at least half an hour in advance. In the mixing bowl, add heavy cream and whip until soft peaks. Add condensed milk and whip until firm peaks. Pour into popsicle molds and freeze at least 8 hours, preferably overnight. Custom Flavors: mix 1 tbsp water + 1 tbsp instant coffee/cocoa powder/matcha powder/etc until dissolved, stir into ice cream when adding condensed milk
