## Description

By installing the subwoofer downward, the AS down-firing enclosures optimize bass response with superior efficiency for richer, deeper, heart pounding low frequency sounds regardless of the enclosure installed position. The sleek design of the AS enclosures allows for installation anywhere in the vehicle, they can be installed vertically or horizontally. The durable MDF wood construction is designed to reduce vibration. Additionally, a special bonding sealer is used to create an air-tight seal to increase joint strength as well as bass reflex. The spun aluminum cone stays rigid even with the most powerful bass notes. Alphasonik's compact down-firing enclosures perform superbly, producing extreme bass with minimal space. Review: Killer subs at insane prices! - I first bought the 8 inch Alphasonik sub for wife's Dodge Journey. She's not fussy with audio so I got her the 8" which I wasn't expecting to be earth shaking. It was small, the price was right and it got great reviews on desertcart. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of punch from this little thing! I'm powering it with a JL Audio 250 watt mono amp. As a quasi-audiophile I wasn't looking for thunderous, muffled bass, but I wanted to fill out the bottom end with a faithful reproduction of the 50-100hz range. I loved the 8" sub so much that I ordered the 10" one for my Dodge Ram 1500--knowing that I'd love it. I'm powering that with a Pioneer 4 channel 4/3/2 amp. It hits a good bit harder than the 8" and I'm a satisfied customer! Above all this, the subs are priced at budget-level yet they yield big-buck performance. They have the construction and heft of much more expensive equipment. I don't know how they do it. I had a $199 10" Kicker sub a few years ago and it was on par with the AS10DF. I can't believe your equipment doesn't have a bigger presence on the internet.

I first bought the 8 inch Alphasonik sub for wife's Dodge Journey. She's not fussy with audio so I got her the 8" which I wasn't expecting to be earth shaking. It was small, the price was right and it got great reviews on Amazon. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of punch from this little thing! I'm powering it with a JL Audio 250 watt mono amp. As a quasi-audiophile I wasn't looking for thunderous, muffled bass, but I wanted to fill out the bottom end with a faithful reproduction of the 50-100hz range. I loved the 8" sub so much that I ordered the 10" one for my Dodge Ram 1500--knowing that I'd love it. I'm powering that with a Pioneer 4 channel 4/3/2 amp. It hits a good bit harder than the 8" and I'm a satisfied customer! Above all this, the subs are priced at budget-level yet they yield big-buck performance. Need 5 gauge wiring kit. Take time running wires and have a continuity test light handy for finding a good ground and to troubleshoot if amp for some reason don't have power. Has good sound. Good bass. Overall if your not looking for super loud bass that's not gonna make your ears ring. This is a good subwoofer. Have it paired with Orion 6.75" speakers. I'm happy with the subwoofer amp enclosure
