I have several 'neon'-style LED decorations throughout my apartment, and these are by far the best quality-wise. When you look at these LED decorations, they are supposed to mimic the aesthetic of real neon signs—but in most cases, you can see the individual LED lights inside the casing.On this arcade inspired sign, the 'tube' casings emit a smooth light. For the red, pink and blue ghosts, the color and brightness is consistent throughout the entire tube, creating a perfect neon-like appearance! The only color where I can see, with my naked eye, a slight variance in brightness between each LED node, is on the yellow Pacman, and even then it's very faint and unnoticable at a distance.The photos don't do the lights justice—you can see the individual lights easier with the increased contrast of the photo—but in real life, to the human eye, they look super smooth. Really nice aesthetic!The clear acrylic plaque they are mounted on is cleanly cut, and creates a cute secondary glow effect around the border of the plaque (you can see this in my product photos).The lights are so bright, they're INTENSE. I turn them off while playing certain high-motion games, like Clone Hero, because it's SO eye-catching it's almost distracting. But it's beautiful at night. Lights up the whole room in a multi-color glow.

Very bright, but brightness is adjustable on the switch which makes it easy to get it just right for your environment. Really nice and glad I got it. High quality, especially for the price.

I bought this for a corner of my home office where I have 3 Arcade 1UP cabinets. When it goes on it lights up my office enough to see and gives it a cool 80s vibe. I have had this for a few months now and it's been on from 4pm to 2am every night and has performed flawlessly. I have "neon" in quotes as it's LED and not really neon but even better as it likely won't burn out or make any annoying buzzing noises and won't shatter. If you are looking at this for your room, home or arcade, buy it without concern. Highly recommnded!
