Planning a trip to the area without being able to see the big picture is frustrating. This provides both the big picture and sufficient detail to understand car/train/bus trade-offs fairly clearly, although the routing of buses and trains are not shown, one can look at timetables, etc., on the internet and get a good feel with map in hand. Nicely, this map does include the slice of Scotland we will be visiting, so the whole picture comes into view for me. The lamination appears quite good, and as we continue our planning, we will use some sort of sticker to mark our waypoints.
