Cleanup is easy with soap and water. It's paintable, but I can't speak to how well it takes paint since I'm not painting over it (the caulk is white and the window frame is also white, so no need to paint). It's impossible to know how long it will last until years have gone by, but so far it's been holding up strong. I've used many other Red Devil products in the past and all have performed well, so I am not anticipating any issues with this. Good value for the price. Review: This DOES take a long time to "cure." I had tried another caulk first and it cracked within a week. However, it is almost impossible to find a decent bathtub caulk, especially in an almond color. I had to use a fan for 24 hours to help it set. And, it's only been a few days since I installed it, so I'm not sure how it will last. But, as of right now, it seems OK. It does say on the tube that it takes a while to set, so I can't say I wasn't warned. But it does seem excessive. Why is it so hard to find a decent caulk anymore? It did arrive on time and in good condition, so I have no complaints about that or the seller. But....be warned. It does take a long time to set. And I've tried a lot of caulks that claim it won't mold, it always does...eventually.
