They were delicious and really soothing. Now I've learned that the antiseptic in them is really effective... many times I have thought maybe I was coming down with a sore throat, had a couple of these, and then not gotten sick. I am not suggesting they cure every sore throat or cold. But I am saying they are delicious, come in an easy to open blister pack that you can easily take anywhere, relieve a sore throat, and, in my experience, maybe help stop a cold from getting worse. Maybe. Sadly, they are not a great value only because they are so expensive in the US and hard to get. I get them here when I can, and sometimes I order from a pharmacy in Australia. That's how much I like them. But because they are so expensive I've given the entire house a lecture on when to use them... only when you think you are coming down with something or are truly sick. To me, while they are delicious and the perfect strength for every day use, they are too expensive to use for just a dry throat, allergy relief, or a tickle. I buy cheap brands for that.
