The first was a bit of a lemon I believe as the nozzle would not stay seated in the sprayer no matter what I did. Also keep this out of the elements if you want it last. I left mine outside during a freeze and the plastic housing cracked apart. My second item works much better, the nozzle stays well seated when opening and closing. I still intend to keep it out of the elements (heat and cold). I use this exclusively for fertilizing my garden with a concentrated liquid fertilizer.
