I also use them in the shower for hanging body pouff, and so far the heat and steam from the shower has not affected them. **Q: How to remove them?** A: Grab the tiny little tongue and pull "DOWN". If you do it right, your index finger knuckle should scrape the wall slightly as you pull it ALL THE WAY DOWN!! As you pull down, the white plastic stretches, slowly separating from the wall, and eventually - POOP!
