So Far So Good
I have not used it for very long, but so far it is performing very well.

Handy timer
Very handy when cooking. The alarm is always with you.

Problem solver
What an excellent purchase. I have a difficult time hearing the timer on the range and often I wander outside and forget something is in the oven. This timer is lightweight around the neck, is easy to hear (think old time alarm) and is accurate.

If you're outside with noise it's easy to miss your "call"
This is so handy because I'm guilty of setting a kitchen timer and walking away...and returning too late. I hang this round my neck and go. My complaint is that the ring is too quiet. I see no reason why they couldn't improve that. If you're outside with noise it's easy to miss your "call".

Hands free reminder!
Hands free to remind me of what I need reminding of. No need to carry my phone or anything else. It's just that easy.

Love this thing
Love this thing. I got old. I start to forget. So I burnt 1 too many pans and risked 1 too many fires. Tried digital timers. A real pain the the a**. Tried a computer timer. Worse than the digital timer. Tried my watch alarm. Worked great, provided you only timed the same time. Pain in the a** to change times. Tried standing by the stove until I was done (which worked. but b-o-r-i-n-g).Tried the kitchen timer. Great. Easy (as in trivial) to set the time. Put it around you neck. Alarm goes off (loud, but short).Works great.Hope it lasts. But its cheaper than buying a new house.

Worked Well When it Worked.
I bought this about a year ago and it worked well while it worked. The time was about accurate and seemed to be durable enough... until it stopped working. One day I tried to turn it to run it and the dial just snapped back to zero without clicking down. I opened it up to see if I could address the issue and saw that all the gears inside are just plastic. They all looked to still be in decent shape except one where the teeth were all ground down to nothing. Overall I maybe used this timer a few dozen times. Maybe 40-60 times max. So IMO that's not a great lifespan for a product. It's cheap to replace, but I prefer well built and maybe a few more dollars myself... I just wish I could find a better timer out there made with better parts.

Not for Hearing Impaired
We bought the this for my mother, but the ringing was too soft. She can understand most conversation in spite of her hearing loss, but the alarm wasn't loud enough to catch her attention.
