Washes beautifully and gets softer with every wash. One I have had a year and wear it everyday at some point, and wash weekly. The second one I just bought a few days ago and will fit into the rotation. This is a very lightweight item that will pack up small and easily, I've brought mine on several trips and its great to keep on the boat.
