This meter cannot measure specific contaminant. **Q: Does this monitor mold spores and pollen?** A: The monitor measures particulates but will not specifically identify them as mold spores. It measures humidity also. If you take baseline samples of other areas, then suspected area and the particulate count is higher, that gives you a starting point for additional analysis. **Q: Can this item send measurement data to a computer, or is there another model that can?** A: TES-5321 cannot send the measurement data to a computer. But, TES-5322 can. We packed it away for 10 months when we have fire season and need to check AQI. Wonderful for a week and then the batteries stopped working. Changed them out multiple times with multiple brands and no go so it only would work if plugged in. Then, 2 weeks later the entire thing stopped working and will only read an AQI 250 regardless of where it is even if we know that the AQI is different. I have contacted the company. We will see what they will do about it.
