I found some videos on YouTube that showed how to use these Distress Oxide Ink Pads to color backgrounds and decided to give them a try. The crafters in the videos used special tools to stamp these distress inks, but all I used were wadded up bits of plastic food wrap--one wad for each of the four colors. The wrinkles in the plastic wrap gave an interesting abstract pattern to the stamped ink. Please see customer image for an A2 (5.5" x 4.25") Friendship card where the background sheet music has been stamped using all four colors in this pack: - Fossilized Amber, Worn Lipstick, Fired Brick, and Spiced Marmalade. I edged the sheet music with Fired Brick.
