Just one wash (delicate cycle, cold water, line-dry) resulted in one pair having the seam start to separate into a one-inch hole. I had already ordered a 2nd package of these panties because I thought they are my new go-to. (Fit, comfort, andlooks are all very good.). I probably won‘t be returning them. But now I fear these are almost disposable panties.____These are excellent! I just received them recently. So, I don‘t know how long they will hold up. But for now, I can attest that I like them as much as my much more expensive panties. I‘m writing a review just in case it helps out any other customers with sizing: Amazon tried to default me to a size up from what I chose. But going larger was the wrong choice for me. My guess is that this depends on your waist to hip ratio. If you have a waist that is smaller compared to your hips (curvy or hourglass?), then maybe you will be like me and NOT want to size up from your usual size. The mediums fit me perfectly. Many years ago there was a version with what was called a “comfort waistband” where there was no exposed elastic. I really preferred those, but they have not been available for quite some time. The only thing I will add is that I’ve always worn the size 6, and they now seem to run a bit smaller.
