It's not recommended but I've been doing it like this. I have carbon monoxide detectors and keep my basement windows cracked. But switch to electric if you can afford it. **Q: Any idea where that got that over the washer stand from?** A: Not sure of the question, however, I removed the old dryer exhaust flex hose and pipe that ran up about 6 feet to the outside dryer vent, that was full of lint . I installed the new flex hose to the dryer and container vent and set it on the basement floor. The system allows for excellent dryer exhaust, increases dryer performance, and can be cleaned when you feel necessary. **Q: What is the difference between the white and the silver duct ? Is it just color or one of the is more reliable and strong ?** A: I only have silver. Neve brought the white so I don’t know.
