**Q: Is the amount of tension adjustable?**
A: No.

**Q: does it come with installation instructions? can i get one from you?**
A: There is no such thing as rear struts for GS300 2005.  Check your car to see where the struts (if any) are located.  I returned mine.  Yes, instructions were included for the HOOD struts.

**Q: Is this for sure for hold open the back trunk for lexus ls 400 , year 1997 ? i did not see lexus ls 400 is stated in the product information , please**
A: No, this doesn't fit and we don't have any trunk shocks for 1997 lexus ls 400.

**Q: is the amount of tension adjustable?**
A: There are no tension adjustments.  Make sure your trunk actually has a strut to be replaced.  My Lexus GS300 did not, so I returned them.  They did fit the hood struts, though.
