I use these to cover rocker switches that are no longer needed after I installed remote style ceiling fans. I also use them in my house entryway as I have a switch for my outdoor lights. I had installed photo sensor light bulbs in my outdoor fixtures so I need no one to accidentally shut off the switch which would mean the lights wouldn’t come on themselves at dusk. It’s nice to have the lights come on when I’m not home so it looks like I’m home and lights the entryway if I get home in the dark. Been using these at my last 3 houses.
