Review: So glad we got this!! - I am really really impressed with this utility cart. We purchased this to use in our utility room as we do not have a lot of storage in our kitchen. The fact that this unit also doubles as a worktop is great as it allows us to not only store extra bits and bobs in the cupboards and drawers, but we will also be using the top as an extra worktop for appliances that we won’t be having in our kitchen. The delivery was a little delayed although it then came very quickly afterwards. I was initially I was a little taken a back by all the parts but that should be expected with an item like this which you need to assemble yourself. The instructions initially looked quite basic but when you look actually assess them it’s very simple, and they have kept it that way for ease. Each item was labelled with numbers and the attachments were labelled with letters. The instructions give you clear step by step guides which enables you to tackle the assembly easily and without feeling overwhelmed! I believe the instructions said it would take around 2 or 2.5 hours to assemble but we actually managed it much quicker (and without any arguments!!) each panel has pre-made holes with align with the instructions. This makes following the instructions very easy. You don’t even need written instructions (which they don’t have much of) because the diagrams are more than enough. I would recommend being careful when screwing on the towel rail as I accidentally misaligned the pre-made initial hole resulting in a slight crack, however I will say when I correctly lined it up and fixed it in place, it still feels super sturdy. The finished cabinet looks really good, almost as if we didn’t put it together ourselves. It feels very sturdy and we have already put it to great use! It is correct with the dimensions listed and it fits perfectly in the space we had allocated for it! My son assembled it. It really did what I needed. Storage space is great. Deep. Sensible worktop. Looks ok too. For the money it’s definitely good. So I bought a second one. The second one was not quite as well made but still good. I wanted to put them back to back but the fittings aren’t reversible so I can’t do that but it’s affective my created a small kitchen area in a back room for very little cost and provided good deep storage.
