A medium scour. Would try lightly at first, since aluminum is soft. Maybe vendor has a finer grit, 500 or so. **Q: I want to remove stains from a bathtub and ceramic tiles. Will 320 grit work or will it dull the finish or make things worse that I what I start** A: These are high speed sanding discs, they remove material on which they are used. A bathtub has a coating of porsalin, so it is going to be dull and will allow water to penatrate and rust. Tiles won't rust but they will be dull,unless you apply some kind of coating. I use my discs on metal. **Q: can this be used with polishing compound? I'm polishing stainless keg. What kind of compound should I use?** A: It's great for a grain finish on stainless steel and blending welds. I'm not sure about polishing with compound, I'll need to try it.
