I didn't want a super thick leather collar but one that resembled leather or was thinner leather.I seen this one and the reviews weren't that bad plus the price was pretty good so I took a gamble and got one. Packaging is ok it did get to me in two days which was nice, also so you know this is made in China as it states on the packaging.Taking it out of the package I was impressed on how flexible and soft it is. Also I really like how easy the buckle opens and closes and how easily it adjusts. I ordered the black which is a bit more Brown than I thought but for what I need it will be fine.I will say that this is not a sturdy collar, while it does its purpose and looks nice I would not recommend this for pullers or dogs that are rough on their collars. The fake leather that it is very soft and I could easily see it ripping under a bunch of force or the fake leather surfacing comeing off from constant use.As I said this will be taken on and off with my service dog's Mobility harness so I do not worry about being hard on it.
