A: Great Question - Our brush has patented retractable bristles that allow the hair and lint to come right off. When you squeeze the sides together the bristles recede into the brush instantly releasing anything trapped.

A: I have very fine hair, also, and my scalp has always been super sensitive. Sensitive to the point that haircuts can be torture. I love this brush and have no issues with it at all!  Hope this helps.
