They 100% stay up ALL DAY LONG. I am in Sales and I walk around all day long. I get in and out of my truck all day long. One of the least favorite sensations for me is that of a sock slowly drifting down my leg. No matter how sturdy sock companies say their elastic is, it rarely can stand up to my calves. (I'm not ripped, they just are very large). There are other long socks, but they usually have the styling of a brown paper bag. These Pierre Henry socks are perfect for me. All day they stayed up to the point I almost forgot they were there, were it not for the fun colorful peek of sock showing whenever my pant leg raised up. These are really great and I know I'll be getting some more to replace all those weak pairs that won't stand up to the job.Edit, several months later:Well, sometimes you make a review right after you get something and rave about a product, then maybe after a while the shine wears off, but you never revise your review. This is definitely NOT THE CASE with these socks! Many wears, many washes and they are STILL STAYING UP and are my FAVORITE socks from the drawer. Stylish, sturdy, they'll work with my Jean's, khakis, dress pants, suit, you name it. Maybe not shorts, but that's just me.
