They got a nice cottony top layer that causes no irritation, yet it keeps you completely dry, no leaks. It isn't as soft as the "cottony soft" line, but it is still comfortable and keeps you drier then the other cottony always pads. The design is also nice. Overall these are one of my favorite pads. The only thing that could improve are the individual wrappers of the pads, they are really noisy to open. Even most "noname" pads have more silent wrappers.
