It is as smokeless as a grill could ever possibly get, cooks things great and evenly, and is surprisingly easy to clean. Minor notes, it is obviously very bright red lights and can make it difficult to see the color of the inside of you food but by taking it off the grill and checking it away from it that’s an easy fix, the inner walls can be a bit tricky to clean off but 90% of any food mess is going in that drip pan which is very easy to take out and super easy to clean. Lastly the only thing missing from this to make it a perfect grilling experience is when cooking steak you don’t get that same texture char on the outside it does leave grill marks but not hat thick char you look for in steak, and it is really a steak specific problem as far as I’ve noticed while grill marks are perfectly acceptable on chicken and pork and other meats I tend to want to sear my steaks in a hot pan before grilling them. That being said it only takes a couple extra minutes to do that before grilling and isn’t super necessary just adds a little something. The grill does leave the inside of steaks and all meats I have grilled perfectly cooked and never dry. Veggies turn out great too so far asparagus might be one of my favorite things I have grilled it gets perfectly tender without getting greasy has been a major hit every time. Overall a great investment for people who want to grill indoors. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ... on tv recently and it thought it looked really good and wanted something that was easier to clean and ... *by C*** on March 20, 2018* I purchased this grill as I’ve seen it on tv recently and it thought it looked really good and wanted something that was easier to clean and cooks better than my old George Foreman grill I’ve had for several years. I purchased this cheaper on amazon as a refurbished unit for $160.00. All I can say is WOW!!! I grilled some rib eye steaks on it for the first time and they really came out great. Tasted just like they were off a charcoal grill. Very easy to setup and operate. And it’s so easy to clean up! The drip tray in the bottom cleans right up with no scrubbing. The removable grill itself also cleans with no scrubbing. There will be a little grease splatter on the inside but it wasn’t that hard clean. The splatter on the inside was not hard and total cleaning time for me is about 10 min. You can also put the grill plate itself in the dish washer along with the drip pan. I am so glad I bought this. Very good investment!Update: I still love this grill. I have cooked a second set of steaks on it and also grilled chicken and it really comes out great and cooked well. I don’t understand why some complain about the cleaning as I don’t find it difficult to clean at all. I used a soft scrub brush with dawn dishwashing liquid and everything cleans up nicely within 10 min. Why is it harder for some others to clean it. I don’t see where it is ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great grill, horrid packaging. *by C***Y on August 1, 2018* Mine arrived today, as promised. Tried it twice already in two different applications. Let me really start out by explaining the four-star approval-- The packaging was the worst I've ever seen! It's a minor miracle it arrived in usable condition.Now to my cooking experience for the day. For lunch I reheated some fried chicken and awesome 'sidewinder' fries on the low setting. Both came out as if they were fresh cooked! Dinner was some thin sliced New York cut steaks. I turned the grill on high while I was seasoning my meat with "Chicago Steak Seasoning" and putting the salad together. By the time my meat was ready the grill was at 440º according to my infrared thermometer. There was a distinct sizzle when I put the steaks on. The steaks cooked while I prepped the potato for the microwave then I flipped them over for a minute. My husband likes his steaks medium while I like them medium-rare. That's hard to do with thin steaks, right? These two turned out perfectly!So, today after two uses I am very pleased.We are an older couple with various pains.
