You don’t need the other books as all the animals have their own patterns and the outfits are interchangeable. A word of warning though. These cuties are adorable and you’re going to become addicted to making them. Beautifully written stories and easy to follow instructions. Luna and friends have a cult like status and it’s easy to see why. You can buy all the items to make the characters/outfits from the Cool Crafting shop in kit form which is my preferred choice. Making these ‘friends’ has given me hours of pleasure and has given so much pleasure to the people I’ve gifted them to.
