I live in a 75 year old house which does not have standard sizes for anything. My shelf edge is close to 2”. I thought I could just maybe nudge them a bit further back. Huh, no. As the description says, do not use on a shelf over .95 in length (I think they meant height or something else) or it will break. Indeed, it did. However, I made them work after I broke their clips off, which was not so easy, by using Velcro to hold them down. As I said, they did not break easily, but they broke cleanly. They remaining shelves I’ll use in my pantry or shoe closet, both of which have thinner shelves. I will say they are not very deep and deeper would be better for my shelves. Other than the .95, there were no measurement that I could find. That would be helpful. Ultimately, this fail is on me.
