I made the mistake of just opening it and shoving my feet into them. I realized on my second try that there is a mesh lining you have to separate and then put your feet in between. There is no tab to secure it at the ankle, so I used hair ties to hold them on my feet so I could walk around. Works really well. Super soft feet for days. I did leave my feet in the mask for 1 hour instead of the directed time.
