I noticed if I put a think layer, the tiles looked slightly cloudy. Not to bad but I wanted the burnt Orange to look bold. The thin grip has held up for several years now. Probably time to add another layer soon. **Q: Can this product be used in cold weather for outside ceramic stairs?** A: It cant be applied when freezing...I doubt it prevents ice.
