I have similar gis that cost $50 more. This item does run large. I am 6’1” and weigh 200 lbs, and I wear 34”x 34” pants. I normally wear a size 6, but based on reviews that it ran large, I ordered a size 5. It fits well, but I will need to shorten the pants 2-3”. I like the soft cloth ties. They stay tied and are less bulky. This is listed as a 16 oz weight, which I thought might be too heavy, but it feels similar to 14 oz gis I’ve used from other brands. My only complaint is that the material is a bit coarse. I would prefer if it was a finer weave, brushed cotton.
