Kept soil drenched for first few weeks, first sprouts within days. Partial sun, 5a. Within a month the shoots were 2ft long and growing. This guy likes wet roots but tolerates drying out fairly well. Impossible to over water. Lowest drama greens in my salad pots, lasting well into September without yellowing. Low density of greens per sqft but large leaves and fast growth mean repeated harvests through seasons.
